I bought an e-book-type reader in the Naval Exchange for my son for xmas. I paid around $200 and it supports *.pdf's and just about any other *.* document. No problems using it for many purposes, easy to bring docs in, and he loves it. Screw Amazon's crap-book. Buy that and you're sure to be disappointed a few months later, when you find out what you should have spent your money on...........
