It's not true that stuff is hard to get. And.................... That's not what it is, if I'm reading the right ad. It's a diesel 4 speed trans with linkage. i.e. not that useful. He confuses it with 'convert your.....' Etc. Believe me, if you had an auto trans in a vanagon, you sure would not want to put in a diesel 4 speed and linkage ! For a person who has that set up already, a spare might be nice. He doesn't say where the **** it is, except there's a phone area code. Might be Canada.

I have an I4 (gas) in my 84 Westy --- using the parts below --- the mechanic who did it for me (now sadly retired) used to get the parts in Germany and told me that they were being cleaned out by Russian buyers and that he couldn't find them at a reasonable price anymore --- so if you're interested in this conversion...........here's a chance
