I'd just make what I need. Modify what I had, build something from scratch. A 'shift box' under the floor wouldn't be hard to build, with the lock outs, etc. Sounds to me you'll almost be guessing at what to get Scott

I'm told by an English seller of Porsche shortshift kits that my shifter isn't Porsche. Thanks, Sportswagenservice Jacobi in Hamminkeln, Germany, who sold it as matching my G50 trans. Just as well they sent me a G50/50 by accident in compensation!

So... it looks like I need a stock shifter for my van, and it needs to be the right one to fit the 1989-only G50/50 (I don't know whether another year or nonturbo G50 shifter will work with my trans).

THEN I can try to find a short-shift kit for it, or make one.

Heck, I don't even know the model number of the car the trans is from... "911" it won't be!
