Subject: Coolant Bleeding 91 GL

Guys...I replaced some cooler hoses. Due to coolant loss, added coolant 1:2(LIve in San Antonio) and used 1.5ltr through the overflow to replenish system. Now have a little still in the overflow so I assume main tank full. When I drive, heater is hot, but temp gauge is cool forever. Unless I sit in traffic or purposely increase idle while in driveway. stays cool. Got it up to midline on the temp gauge, but when I bleed from top of radiator...no air or fluid. Fan comes on in driveway. Why no bleed? Why radiator not too hot? Gauge seems to be working. Blinking light came on at first when levels were low, but now only flashes at start up and gauge never goes past midline. Just want to complete the bleed and table the issue. All else is sweet. Thanks for the input. Michael 91GL 'Gringo'

Thanks, Michael Sullivan
