Porscheshop in England said my shifter isn't Porsche. Partsheaven in SF says it's the right shifter but a 92-94 might work. Porschapart sent a parts diagram of a 964 unit, which is completely different to mine and FAR more complicated. Now I'll have to wait and see what Pelican Parts says...

Seems that guessing is right!

If I get the wrong shifter it probably won't work... the throws have to be exactly right.

I certainly don't have the ability to make a shifter up.
