Hi Jake,

Did anyone else notice it's missing the d/s rear bumper guard. I bet
that black paint is there simply as a repair to owner-inflicted body
damage. When the bodyshop can't/won't match the original colour,
black is a commonly used alternative for rockers. I have seen that
done LOTS of times on Ontario buses, people seem to be blind to
obstructions on the lower quarter and scrapes and dents in that area
are very common.

The interior doesn't show much wear at all, even the driver's seat
looks pretty new. Sure, there's some dirt here and there; it is a
passenger van and people sometimes buy vans to haul stuff. And trust
me, even people with garages sometimes dent their vans. Snowshovels
fall off the walls, people lean stuff against the van... 24 years is
a long time.

I would think that no dealership that is looking to protect its
reputation would sell a vehicle with 24 year old tires on it. That's
a lawsuit looking to happen, and around here you probably would fail
the safety certification anyway. I have emailed the seller to ask
what tires are on it; if they get back to me I'll let the list know.
