I don't think we are allowed to import cab-over-wheels vehicles anymore, someone can correct me on that.

A customer of mine ( a large community college campus in Maryland) uses Kia vans for their maintenance techs on campus, they look similar to this, tho not 4 wheel drive. It's a shame that we probably never will see anything like this in N. America, because it just makes sense, especially in large cities. As a service tech who drives a company provided Chevy Astro that is mostly empty, I could easily make do with a much smaller vehicle. We don't carry anything anymore in the way of spares, not even critical ones. Back in the 80's and early 90's customers expected us to have the replacement parts with us on the first service call, they have now been conditioned to expect a critical part the next business day. With $3.00+ per gallon of gas, maybe America will wise up-the Smart car is coming, so maybe there is hope. Jeff
