This was kinda of done with the 67 Mustang. Dynacorp now produces a complete 67 Mustang body overseas. They also make several other bodies. They not only reproduced the
body they also took and added upgrades from other years like torque boxes and some structures that were specific to the big block powered cars. They did this with the blessing from
Ford though. I could never see VW getting involved with this and infact would most likely
stop it from happening. For those who don't know the Mustang is a Unibody like the Vanagon. A neat product that Dynacorp makes is a Early Camaro body that can be placed on a newer Camaro frame. The looks and style of the antique car with the underpinnings of
a modern nice handling car.

different models. Unless, there is a guy who has bought them before. I
knew a few guys from the BMW group, the top brass, I played golf with them
every month, and their suppliers of the dies, tools, etc. I may still find
the contacts if I really search for them, but only if its worth it.
