My son was using these things for battery charging his RC cars. They are
now banned from our house due to our almost not having one after one
burned up. Is it really worth saving a few bucks instead of getting a
"real deal"? There is some value to things being listed, certified, etc.
for the purpose for which it will be used. The progressive Dynamics
chargers are one time purchases. You will have it for years and when the
camper goes, most likely you will keep it and move it to the next one.

I agree that those are cheap consumer grade power supplies. The two meters
probably
won't take the beating from off road or even semi off road trips. Store it
in a box
with bubble wrap to protect it from vibration. You will only use it in
wherever
there is AC. So you will not be driving when it is in use. If it used only
a few times
a year it is still a good cheap alternative.
