This subject sure does sound familiar ... LOL Anyway, I've great results with my 2 wheel drive Vanagons in the snow of northern Maine (one automatic and one manual) using Nokian Hakkapeliitta C2 or CQ tires (unstudded, BTW). The right tires sure do make a difference. Mike
