I've machine washed the cushion covers in my '85 Westy a couple of times and they came out great. After washing, I put them into the dryer and took them out when they were "Almost" dry and hung them out to finish drying. I don't know if my drying procedure is necessary or not ... but it's what I did and it worked for me. Mike
