Hi Ric,

When I was using ETKA 5 on my Dell Inspiron 8600 (had exactly the same problem) I solved it by installing Scrollable Desktop (SDesk) v0.1.66s

http://www.nearestexit.com/sdesk/

It allows you to scroll up and down to see all. I customized the key commands so that I only had to hit ALT-up arrow or ALT-down arrow.

Now I use ETKA 7 which doesn't have the resolution restrictions so SDesk isn't required.
