Hi robert, Maybe you haven't driven there lately. You can get passed by a CHP while you're going 80. ( tho usually when is around, everyone slows down to about 65 for a few minutes ) It's also sometimes 4 lanes wide, just packed full of cars, all going 65 to 85. Lots of places, you'd be a hazard going 70, And I'm not exaggerating all that much either. Scott www.turbovans.com

Average velocity along interstate 5 > was 80.6 mph

I thought the speed limit in California was 70.
