Exactly , with the right 'real trailer tires' and low profile, in cruise especially, there shouldn't be too much penalty on fuel economy. Scott

When I tow my little Cox Cadet floptop trailer with the '85 Westy (trailer only weighs about 750 lbs) my mileage drops from around 21 mpg to around 20 mpg. Not much of a hit really.
