Interestingly, and unmentioned in my original post, I
was on my way from work to the SPCA to pick up our new
old dog when the AW incident occurred.  He's a
one-eyed, scuffed, bloodhound mix who was smart enough
to get himself adopted by a Westy camping couple.
Hope he likes camping as much as the old dog did.
