Hey all,

So after looking through the archives for help and and taking Scott's advice and checking the resistance at the ecu (which was good) I still can't start my van.

So I guess my question, before I have the van towed to a garage, is if there is any other wiring to check for continuity or disconnection that would prevent it from starting. Upon re-reading that statement probably most of the wires in the ignition system would be needed so any that stand out would be helpful.

A little other info: Its an 87 westy 2.1 with auto and ac (that the po removed - so I have wiring but no components)

The van had been running really rich and had problems warming up prior to the incident and that was part of the reason for the temp II sensor swap - I had one and thought what the heck (apparently big mistake).

I can hear the fuel pump priming when I turn the key and I have checked at the ecu most of the Bently specified checks. Some of the ones requiring disconnecting other components, because of the first catastrophe, I am avoiding at this point.

Also, I have been having an even harder time troubleshooting because it has been consistently below -10 (Celsius) all week - except today, only -9, consequently I have run the battery out now twice from cranking the engine.
