Hi, he tried that first thing, logically, and it didn't help. Fwiw, I have never heard of or experienced a bad new temp sensor for the ECU, but it's a simple matter to check it with an ohm meter. Possible, not likely, easy to check. What I want to know is what do the spark plugs, or even one, look like ? wet, and flooded ? or dry. Huge plug gaps, what , LOTS to glean from looking at even one plug, which takes but a few seconds How is the spark ? , as the other guy said, And ..........if I have spark, and think it should run, and it won't , and it's not flooded, I just put some fuel down the throat, and if it goes VROOM ........then you know it's a fuel problem, and where to focus your energy and great cleverness. James,

I cannot attest to the accuracy of this information but I have been told that occasionally those Temp II sensors are "bad" off the shelf. It might be worth trying a new one (or putting the old one back in if you still have it) and see what happens.
