On 2 of my Vanagons I have Nokian Hakkapeliitta tires. One has the "Studdable" C2 and the other non studdable CQ. You can order the C2s studded or studdable (with holes but without studs). A local tire shop could then fill the existing holes with studs if desired. But, for others reading this, don't drive on them first then expect a tire shop to install studs later. They won't do it as the little holes will have filled with crud.

Google Nokian Hakkapeliitta

LT 195-75-14" not available. These were good tires and not expensive. About $66 ea on sale. > I'm looking at Nokian. Studs are illegal in Wisconsin. What model Nokian can I drive year round? I am concerned with the noise--I don't mind a little, but don't want to sound like a mud-runner truck going down the road. > > Thanks; > Chris C > 90 MV >
