Subject: ALIGNMENT DEGREES VS. MEASUREMENTS

The place where I get tires and wheel alignments just called to say they can't do a wheel alignment on the syncro. I gave them the Bentley and they said that the Bentley only has the alignment specs in measurements, and their machine will only work in degrees.

I'm lost ....anyone have a suggestion? Ordinarily these guys seem to know what they are doing. They had the foresight to call for help to the one specialty VW shop in Jacksonville that has been in business for over 40 years, and those guys said they wouldn't know where to send a syncro for a proper alignment.

Everybody has surrendered! Except me, I'm going to take the Derek Drew article to them and see if that will help...even though that is for a camper, and I have a passenger van.
