That was me, I really like Lubriplate Chain and Cable lube for anyplace you want a light penetrating lube. I also ordered a can of their Gear Shield Extra Heavy which I had never tried before -- is a heavier grease but still has a foaming, penetrating action when applied, might be good where you want more of a durable coating but don't want to use something as heavy as wheel bearing grease.

These are kind of expensive, not quite $16 but a little goes a long way.
