Put the new seal on the glass, then put a rope in the channel where the body of the van's going to sit. You then have a friend hold the glass in place, pushing inwards, while you pull the rope at 90 degrees to the window, into the van. Basically you're pulling the lip of the seal up and over the lip of the van with the rope. It helps to spray soapy water over everything first, as this'll let you move things a little until it dries.
