FUN BUS just turned over 254,500K last night returning from Florida to Long Island NY. Original engine and head gaskets. Used 1 quart oil. Only did 15.25 mpg but I was driving very fast as this was an unplanned 4 day roundtrip. Actually I am just happy it is running at all. Tranny was rebuilt twice, broken 4th gear both times.

For Vanagon sightings, I saw a green and white Westy from Canada parked at the Camping World in Kissimmee Florida, A two tone Brown passenger van being towed behind a motor home in Virginia and a Metallic Blue Passenger flew past me in DC.

Now that our ladies are approaching vanagon middle age, how many of us have stuck by her for 200Kmi?
