Michael, sounds like you're gettin' all confused here. MT-90 is a GL-4 gear oil for manual transmissions. You've been telling me/us all along that you have an automatic transmission in your 91 GL vanagon. It would take ATF Dexron in the auto trans part, And GL-5 gear oil in the differential portion, which you can check or fill by a plug on the side, But you can't drain it without dropping the pan for the diff. portion. Are we getting clear in any way yet ? scott

Just wanted to confirm...MT90 for 91 GL? Sells in town for 9.95QT. and aftermarket 3pc gasket/filter kit is 9.95...Sound right? Thanks, Michael 91GL 'Gringo' in San Antonio

Thanks, Michael Sullivan
