Scott:
according to my one time experience, it was much harder for me to put
the tranny back. How do you first keep it on the floor jack before
trying to raise it to join the engine? It will be difficult to keep
it from falling off. The tranny needs to be on the floor jack then
the jack needs to be moved to position under the van. This is the hard
part. If I position the tranny under the van first it will be very tough
to put a floor jack under the tranny in order to raise it. It also needs
to be at a perfect spot under the tranny so that when it is raised it
remains balanced and will not fall off.
The recommended tranny jack looks good for lowering the tranny. But I am
not convinced that it will be any good in installing the tranny.
