Yeah, but "...the eagle has landed." I'm back in SF. Most newer forums allow
the user to get email direct or read at site only. I personally like the way
this List works. I don't need to log on to my account just to check
messages. The spare Vanagon List is on Yahoo and has this option. I have no
trouble checking postings even in the backwaters of Sihanoukville, Cambodia.
It's just expensive to use a satellite connection. Believe me when I say
List postings can be more entertaining than going to shore excursions on
some of the places I've been to recently.
