No, I just meant 'set it to 14.86" for a tank dedicated to the furnace.'

Otherwise, put up with hard starting and slightly reduced BTU output (which is what I do) or enlarge the orifice (which is what I will do sometime.) My regulators are both 11.5", checked with a home-made mamometer.
