It is a built late 82 ,titled 83, aircooled 7 passenger. It has a good motor and tranny, straight body, tweed fabric interior and four new 8 ply tires. My business as an upholsterer has outgrown my love of Vanagons as delivery vehicles. Since we are doing multiple pieces at the same time, I have bought a 7 x12 Continental Cargo trailer with a ramp rear door. ( We loaded our first heavy couch this evening--what a joy!!) No, I wouldn't even think of using it as a tow vehicle. I have a 7.3 four door dually long box pick up for towing trailer containing furniture, or D.O.R vanagons around Salem.

Since I have three acres, if you need a place to leave it while you gets parts or something else, it is a safe haven for vehicles and people.

Scott says I should ask more than $900.00 for it So, if anyone is wanting to haggle price, I can be persuaded to accept more. I would even trade straight across for a nice Martin model 2 or 3 soprano or tenor ukulele. I would also consider whatever ukulele you might have. Guitars? Lap or pedal steel?

Since I have a bunny truck 1.6 with a 5 spd, I can still wear my vw badge.

There is a Dasher sedan with a 5 speed which also needs to live somewhere else. It can come with a good 1.6 which needs a head gasket. (When my wagon just needed more work than it was worth, I pulled the motor and gave the rest to another fellow for parts. The grand plan was to put this motor in the sedan--in my spare time) So, talk to me about with or without a 1.6d.

Bill Thompson Salem,Oregon 503 364 0854 {since I am on long distance flat rate, if you want to ask qstns, write me your number and a convenient time. wdt
