So this gasket, it is the black rubber gasket at the "base" of the head, right? Mine is seeping on the head side of that gasket But it's way thicker than 3.5 mm, the rubber is just about 1 cm thick. There does not appear to be any sealer or RTV or anything on it. There could be a very thin layer I guess, but certainly nothing squeezed out visibly.

Ha ha, actually if I ever do a conversion I really think it will be a Zetec, the Bostig kit looks so complete and cleanly done.
