If you want living memory with most forums you simply tell the setup that you want and email for ALL posts! Better yet I currently belong to a few for my Porsche and boats that have RSS. So when I check my reader each day I get all the same content w/o having to have a separate email address or clog up my main on. Plus you'd never get "wallaced"...

I know there are many many old timers on here that hate change (I see their distane regularly!) but at some point it sure would be nice to get such a valuable list more manageable and modernized. This would allow better searching and client management, plus those of us who are not really thrilled with Friday political rants can opt out of off time forums.

Yes there are other sites to join but vanagon.com is the place all know to go and love. The Yahoo! syncro is very respectable and I'll guess most here below but even Yahoo! groups is limited.

Will I continue to use it in this format? Yes. Do I have the time and resources to help upgrade the site? No.

But it would be nice to get this list in the 21st century...
