I got the glass from fellow list-member Doug Ford. I can't say for sure, but I think he got it from a junkyard. It's in really great shape. Do you have any junkyards around you with any Vanagons. If you are going to re-use your seal or get new one, you can cut the seal on the donor windshield so as not to crack it as it comes out. 
 
I'm not sure how easy it is to ship a windshield without braking it, or how expensive it is to pack and ship, but there is a salvage yard in NJ called Brass Castle that gave me a good deal on a Honda del Sol side window a few years ago. Maybe not practical to ship to you, but I thought I'd mention them just in case.
