Thanks, Roger. Any idea what kind of amps your heater draws. Other
than the ticking, is it noisy?

I have this heater in our van OEM standard from Westfalia
it is a factory installation and the only draw back is that it runs
the aux battery down after 48 hours of continual running
there is a slight ticking noise as the pump allows fuel to pass ...
the heat is dry and wonderful ...
ours keeps up with about a low temp of 5 degrees Fahrenheit ...
(read the cabin is a little cold when we wake in the morning as
opposed to being very very warm)
usually i open the top vent and one side window a little to allow for
fresh air to enter the cabin
hanging your night curtain only across the back seats rather than
around the window as it should be is...
not the best idea as the space in the helm area gets very cold and
condensation gathers there ...
we also have a separate isolation switch to prevent the timer clock
from running the aux battery down as well ...
this coming year we intend to install a solar trickle charger to help
the aux battery keep up
cause in the wintertime it is really nice to run the heater and keep
condensation out of the whole van
check out diesel heaters from some truck suppliers ...

also try marine dealers to see their selection of some of the same
heaters designed for very tight quarters applications
