Back in the early 80's there was the Dodge 024, which was VW engined. A guy I worked with bought one, it was supposed to be "sporty", and I think he thought of it as his mid-life crisis "sports car". He'd had it about 2 months when I mentioned to him about it having a VW engine, to which he replied "The hell it does". We went out to the parking lot and I had him pop the hood-he nearly peed his pants when he looked at the engine!! Jeff |
