Apparently this is a hot topic! Take note VW!
For the record I didn't even mention the TT in my original post. I quite like the TT, and to be honest I
don't know if I'd ever be in a position financially to buy one, but it's not a VW on the surface. Whether
it is under the hood i guess is a different matter. My point is that VW is missing out on a significant
part of the market, and by that i mean me. I don't want a VW that says Audi any more than i want an
Audi that says VW on the hood.
I have to admit though i often squint my eyes and pretend my 03 Beetle convertible is a TT convertible.
Sigh.
I'll look into the Golf/R32 (as you can tell I'm not that familiar with them) but if VW is going to go out on
a limb with the Phaeton and Eos they might as well goof up and give me a VW sports car.
