Two problems with your suggestion. First, these days anyone can find answers to almost any question without asking the Vanagon list. Only laziness prevents searching for the proper forum. Second, no matter what, some people will reply publicly either knowingly or accidentally. This will prompt others to do the same since their thoughts and ideas deserve equal time in their opinion and rules be damned if others violate them first. This is already illustrated in the latest few posts after Jim already said ENOUGH.
