Hi,

I have friends who are Mac users. You will not escape the "over time ... clog ... slow ... crash" type stuff. There simply isn't that much difference under the hood. The remedy to that is to reformat and reinstall (to clean up the software) and upgrade processor and/or memory (to improve the hardware).

S has direct experience that the tech support at Micro$quish has gone to h*|| in a handbasket in the past few years. And he has direct experience that changing over to Vista will invalidate much of his not- very-old legacy software, with which he makes his living!
