Hi Sunbrella will still Rot!!! It also shrinks and stretches in some conditions. But Cotton Canvas will also shrink. Sunbrella is known for color retention and some breathability. It CAN NOT be rolled up and forgotten wet. It will stink and rot just like the others. I Do make canvas boat tops and such but dont make the pop top canvas. Not sure who does but when and if I need to replace mine I will also be looking for a Pre made since my time is Valuable.

As for the Rain Fly Ive seen the Go Westy Rainfly and it seems ok. Seems like it would take a bit of time to rig as well as now youve got a large wet pc of nylon that needs to be dried out as well. I make a front rainfly and a thermal wrap that will do about what the Rainfly will do. Just depends on your wants and needs. If you deam it a Need then You need it. If others Deam it a need then they will need it. I need a bunch of stuff. I tend to use the term Need over Want, My wife will ignore me either way!! Thanks and just enjoy camping as long as you dont spend most of it setting up and breaking down your site.
