Gregory,

Randy Bergum has adapted the Hella H4s to the Vanagon mounting system. You can see them at: http://home.earthlink.net/~organslave/id18.html

I have Cibie H4 mounted on my 91 and all I can say is night to day!

I planned to fab a bracket to mount the Cibies to the Vanagon adjusters, but couldn't get a solid mount point on the Cibies. I ultimately hacked my old Vanagon lamps so all I had left was the bracket. to which I wired and glued the Cibies.

The mount is solid but my van looks kind o bug-eyed. I had to file the grille a bit to fit. I was going to write it up for the archives but it is sort of a kludge. If you want pix let me know. . -- John Meeks '91 Multivan, '85 GL bits Northern Michigan KC8ZFN Vanagon Rescue Squad http://www.vanagonauts.com/Vanagon_Rescue_Squad74.htm
