Where to begin...

The R8 wasn't even mentioned and shouldn't even be mentioned in the same class as your average VW or Audi for that matter.

I think all Jeff meant was he want's a purebred german sports car for the "everyman."

He doesn't want a Ford Escort with different badging. He want's a thought out german vehicle.

I don't think that was a shot he took at the TT, I think he meant he liked the idea of the T, now he wants VW to do something like that (on their own).

As far as bashing people on here...I don't think many people on here claim to be complete experts. These are folks that are helping out other folks out of the goodness of their hearts. They aren't charging and aren't claiming to know it all. I know when I send out an email just MENTIONING that i MAY buy a vanago sometime in the next 6 months and within hours get 8 or 10 emails with people offering help and suggestions...that is far from a High School atmosphere.

If you don't like the advice, or think it's to "high schoolish" then get off the bus and find another place to spend your time.

Everyone is allowed an opinion, and I will apologise for all these fine folks that offer their help and advice and want nothing in return.

Sorry man.

If I took the email the wrong way I do apologise. Just my opinion...
