For those of you who are unfamiliar, the VW R32 was a 2004 only car (though
i hear theres a new one coming), its essentially a Golf GTI with alot of R32
only features such as the Audi TT engine (250hp! VR6), AWD, 6 speed short
shift manual transmission, custom seats by Konig, special wheels, and all
the other bells and whistles. It sounds....AMAZING. The seats suck you up
and absorb you completely, its a wonderful driving experience with such a
short shifting transmission and quick revving powerful engine. They were
also only available in the US in 4 colors, with something like 75% of them
being either blue or silver. Black and Tornado red were the other options i
believe. 5000 were supposedly imported to the US, and i'm told its still the
fastest VW ever imported to the US.
It's a car thats increasing in value and quickly becoming harder and harder
to find.
Sorry i'm not ENTIRELY sure on some of those facts, i guess i'm just being
too "high-schoolish", but It seems some people would like to know some
basics about this illusive VW R32 that so many people dont know ever
existed.
