Good to see someone else is keeping their original canvas top alive!
I don't know if mine is original, but it sure looks like it. It was
kept "alive" by PO with duct tape. I really should patch it up
properly. Personally I'd rather invest $ in mechanical stuff and keep
whatever else http://tubaneil.googlepages.com/paintyerbumpers%21 going
if safe/possible. Besides replacing the top (though the GoWesty 3
fly's look good) is just another job to do.
Although I haven't been in any substantial long term rain, for me if
it gets bad, I just put the top down. There's always a chance to dry
it out and water does soak through a bit, but doesn't come in the van.
