I wouldn't worry about it too much, Other than try to clean your oil with an additive to get better flow into the rocker arm areas. I've only ever seen one real rocker arm problem ever. I have bucket fulls of spare rocker arm sets around. Most people never ever take the rocker arms off the shafts and inspect things there. I don't, unless there's some real reason too, and I've never had a real reason to yet in hundreds of vanagons worked on. I looked at my spare set of rockers and they had much more galling. Is this somewhat "normal" for a motor with 150K? Should I get new shafts and rockers or is there something that is OK. There is not much advice in the three book that I have other than wear limits for the shaft and rocker. Thanks
