Tiico did not invent this conversion, far from it. It has been being done for over 10 years by many others. In fact we had a group buy for new AAZ 1.9TD engines here on this list about 10 years ago. I was in on that and so was my brother. Still running those engines, mounted at 50 degrees. Very nice option for people with diesel Vanagons since it was mostly a bolt-in for us. The Tiico setup includes a lot of stuff that is stock on diesel Vanagons and so their kit is aimed at waterboxer Vanagons. Mark
