Ron, I take the steering column plastic off & find the terminal on the ignition switch that powers the key buzzer. Then I wire the radio to that terminal. When the key is in, the radio is powered, when the key is out, no dead batteries. Of course the radio memory wire has to go to an always on terminal. walt
