My four intake valve adjuster screws are a little pitted, so I am looking for replacements for those, but it is the shaft and the rocker themselves (the machined holes where they sit on the shaft) that has slight galling.

Are you talking about the little adjustment screws? I had a 1.9 w/62 K miles. The adj. screw had variable wear among them. Some looked great, and others had wear on one side (it seemed). I ended up replacing the adjustment screws, and then scrapping the whole Vanagon cause I couldnt get title. I still have the rocker arms w/adj screws if you want them.
