Hi, Why don't you buy some of my old clutch master cylinders that I won't quite throw away yet, find a source for the kits and rebuild them yourself, and sell them or something ?

Try the 20 dollar rebuilt FLAPS one if you want. That's WAY inexpensive for sure, and worth the risk if you don't mind dealing with it again if it doesn't last that well. For that kind of price, I think I'd be willing to try one on a personal van of mine. I wouldn't expect it to be as well lasting as a new one from Germany of course.

But at a price that's equal to half a tank of gas almost, not much to loose.

A rebuilt on can never really be as good as a new one, Not unless they sleeve it, which I doubt they would do, especially at that price level. Scott www.turbovans.com

Has anyone had any success in rebuilding the clutch master cylinder? The FLAPS have them for like 20 bucks- special order, but the cylinder is 100...

List vendors have the cylinder for ~50-70, but why pay even that if its a case of a simple rebuild? I hate tossing out old parts that I can re-use...
