A year or so ago, one of the listees from the Northeast, maybe Maine,?posted a place where diesel injector pumps could be rebuilt very reasonably.? I had sold my diesel pickup by then or I would have saved the info.? You might check the archives.? If the service is still in business, it would significantly lower the price of owning a diesel.?

You got that right! I had a Chevy van with the 6.2 diesel. Got amazing mileage
for such a large vehicle (33 mpg). Then the injection pump failed-2 years of
fuel savings burned up all at once.   Jeff
