Subject: Donor vans

In response to Neil Crawford's lament that Portland OR area Pick 'n Pull yards are really low on vanagons - I AGREE!

Which is why I am still ever so thankful and blessed to be the recipient of this '86 van, "Bob", from Bill Thompson in Salem OR. He will be a donor parts van for my dormant "Blue Mongrel", also an '86. The engine will be transplanted, as will the rear hatch struts, maybe the rack/pinion for power steering; and other misc VW parts, doo-dads to save for "someday" . . . . .

And what I do not salvage I will sell VERY REASONABLY or by generous donations so I send the $$$ back to the PIFF (Pay It Forward Fund). So, NW OR & SW WA volks, keep in touch in the next few weeks. . . . . . . to be continued . . . . .

Anna in PDX '86 Blue Mongrel '86 Bob 2 dogs / 3 cats (hi Bev!)
