If this is the adjustment knob in the front and the shaft that goes into the arm rest...it is just about impossible to replace. Quite seriously you'd be better off getting a whole replacement arm instead (and if the fabric color is an issue, it is easier to take the fabric off the old arm rest and put it on the replacement arm.)
