Erik, I had a 91 automatic in a similar predicament and I sold it at a low price to another list member. I now regret it. I only had to re-tag it for $40 and it would have bought me another year! Never sell a Vanagon. Chris C 90 MV

--------------------------------------------------------------------- Erik O here, long time poster, recently lurking.

I'm getting harassed by the city about my Vanagon in the driveway, expired tags. So I have to do something about it quick. It's an 88 with about 100k on the clock. Non Westy. Non automatic. It spent most of it's life in Hawaii, then got to Ohio somehow where I bought it.

I haven't driven it in a while, but it's a pretty nice van. It's located in Warren, Ohio which is in the North East corner of the state.

It's got very little rust, which would make me sick if I had to scrap it.

If there's anyone close by that's looking for anything, let me know quick. I might be willing to part out.

Later,

-- Erik
