RE: Auto tranny pedal Anyone else find the angle of the accelerator pedal more comfortable on long trips than the pedal in the stick shift? When I went from my '85 4 speed to my '90 automatic I had much less trouble with leg cramps (and my bad right knee acting up) on long freeway drives. (Minor problem now with a working cruise control)

Not me! I actually raised the floor of the van with a piece of 1 inch foam as I found the angle of the pedal to the floor very fatiguing on long trips. The foam also helps to reduce vibration, which can cause nerve irritation. I would love to have cruise control, so I could change foot postions on those longer trips. Wonder how hard it is to add one? I have a subaru E22 engine.

Troy
